Emil Brune

African-born and raised, Emil loves tech and quant just as much as he loves engaging with people. Has a talent for combining diverse inputs into compelling stories with clear implications – enabled by his broad experience. He's a passionate devotee of rugby and a lover of whisky.  

Paul Laker

Paul has a passion for ‘in the moment’ research and is fascinated by exploring the cultural environment that people live in. With over 20 years of African research know-how, he understands what it takes to get things done and is continually seeking to expand his infamous pan-African sick bag collection.

Nic Long

Nic is most happy sticking his nose into people’s lives in hot, sticky environments and has been doing this across Africa from his early days in research and advertising. When he is not polishing insights he relaxes by finding imaginative ways to avoid DIY and find a good read instead.
